The Lone Looper is a project borne out of necessity.

Never a technically minded artist, the TC Helicon Voice Live Touch was indeed a magic box, and I looked at it with wonder like man first looked at fire. Almost 2 years after the marvel began,  I found myself using the TC Helicon voice live touch as a compositional and arrangement tool.

Playing festivals , conferences and shows all around the world completely by myself and using just the human voice. Summoning up ancestors, drawing from heritage and influences. Freedom to fill the sound canvas with whatever colour or texture is fancied. Occasionally using small instruments such as mbira, kalimba and music boxes, the Lone Looper is a blend of original, African and jazz inspired sounds to leave your ears buzzing and your imagination tripping.
